Mr. Piehler commenced his practice specializing in secured transactions and was a member of the insolvency group at Bassel, Sullivan & Leake. He continued his insolvency practice with Chaiton & Chaiton and developed a commercial litigation, banking litigation and creditors’ remedies litigation practice with Chaiton & Chaiton. With Thibodeau & Associates and Thibodeau, Piehler, he expanded his commercial litigation practice and also developed expertise in motor vehicle, equipment leasing, insurance, employment and condominium law. In addition, with his client base and referral work, he handled product liability and assessments of costs matters. In addition to being an experienced trial attorney, Mr. Piehler has handled many matters in the Ontario Court of Appeal on behalf of Appellants and Respondents.

Mr. Piehler’s client base includes equipment and vehicle finance companies, property management companies and condominium corporations. With the assistance of experienced law clerks and junior associates, Mr. Piehler provides cost-effective legal enforcement of creditors’ remedies for his clients as well as general commercial, real estate, construction and insurance litigation services, specializing in property claims.
